Help with reorder/restock

We have not used the reorder point feature, but would like to take advantage. In testing, I have come up with some strange results. I set different reorder/restock levels on 1 item as a test. The levels were set based on the individual stores selling history. The item is set up with a minimum order of 1, but a MPQ of 12. Store A has 6 on hand, a reorder point of 18 and a restocking level of 54. Store B has 12 on hand, reorder point 14 and restock 25. Store C has 7 on hand, reorder 8 and restock 16. Store D has 0 on hand, reorder 4 and restock 12.

All other stores on hand is greater than the rorder point.

The system is looking to order 24 for Store B. The system is looking to order 12 for Stores C and D. The system is looking to order 384 for Store A.

I used the PO Planner (Worksheet 340), Order Method "based on re-order information," and set the filter = this 1 item.

Stores B, C and D all came out as expected, but I have no idea what it did to come up with 384 for Store A.

No, there are no work orders, negative quantities or committed numbers, plus all the stores recently took a full physical inventory, so the on-hand numbers are accurate.
