How to post MS POS batch sales transactions to accounting software

Jan 04, 2007 5 Replies

We are using Microsoft POS v.1.0 for the storefront operations. We would like to post transaction data to our backoffice accounting program Microsoft Office Accounting 2007. We investigated using the POS Connector add-in for SBA 06, but it seems the add-in only posts information to the Journal.

Specifically, we want to have our inventory on OA07 updated as items move using MS POS. Is there a way to post a day's transactions to OA07?

Actually, MSPOS 2.0 will post detailed transaction data to OA07. It will also share item, customer, supplier, tax, and item receipt data.

Brilliant.

How did you get this information? Can you point me to a feature list for

2.0? White papers? Design specs?

We want to hit the ground running when it comes out.
