HQ Reports Printing Issue

Hi all!

We are using RMS HQ 1.3 and when user from some work stations print a report the first page is shrank to the upper-left corner. I have an example from the original Detailed Sales Report. Does anybody had this issue and/or knows how to fix it?

Unfortunatly this can't be the reason why it does that, because we don't use logo in our report from HQ...

I've seen it. Something is goofed up in the printer settings on their workstation. You can fix it by going into printer properties from the print preview window and changing something like the paper size. I'm sorry, I've only seen this a couple of times and I don't have the exact steps to fix it - I think you just have to 'touch' the print properties( open them and not necessarily make any changes). I don't think that this is really an RMS issue - I think it has something to do with the Windows printer properties on the individual workstation. It could be related to the default printer driver, but that's just a guess...

I have an alike problem in the Label Wizard (usually page size or orientation), to fix this as Glenn mentioned, I have to unfortunately "touch" the print properties box.

Ummmm. Maybe it doesn't fit the technical definition of a bug, but from the end user persepctive, it's a BUG. We are not all techno-dorks who "think in binary."

First, I don't think this KB article is even accurate. It happens when not using custom logos and even on reports where the logo is completely removed.

Second, RMS should support logo files of any size, name, or common file format (including Prog JPEG).
