When trying to import my inventory, item list, accounts, etc. into RMS for the first time from Quickbooks Premier Retail version 2006, I am getting an "empty" error and nothing is importing. My RMS version is 1.3. Even when setting up the link, the file name comes up but the company name does not. Any suggestions?
Unfortunately this only works with the US version of QuickBooks... fortunately your reseller should have a tool that will allow you to import your data into RMS once you export it out of Quick Books.

Hi I think you can export your database into .csv file. Than you can just download EMS IMPORT server utiliti 2005 or 2006 ... Try to find it on downloads.com ... Then just backup your old database and try to import using this tool ... IT's quite easy use tool. If any questions feel free to contact me ... I desided to help anyone who needs it , cause when I was tring to do it noone helped me, any it's a little bit hard, when you do it first times ...
If you wish you can send me .csv file ... I have a tool written in perl on my server that generates a ready import file for RMS. Then all you have to do, is restore your database from that file.
