We use the weighted average method to update costs in the item table. In the POS, when a user scans an item lookup code, then selects the description column for that item on the transaction grid for that item and presses F2 to view a list of item properties, the cost field in the properties window is blank. However, if you open the items window, select and item, and click the properties from this window to open the more detailed item properties, the item does have a cost associated with it.
Why is this cost field not showing up correctly?
