If I understand your post correctly you are doing all these activities described below in POS?

If so then you need to purchase another license.

What version of RMS are you currently running?

You can add registers in whatever quantity you need.

The dongle is only licensing the Point of Sales.

You can have as many back office computers as you like pointed at the database and running store ops manager. So while you would need a new dongle/additional license to put an additional till on, you needen;t update if all you need are Store Manager access.

We have sites where they only have a one lane dongle but up to 6 back offices.

The problem is we have to open POS to close the Work orders & ship. We also have to have it open to enter the Work Orders from the emails, phone calls, and on-line orders we get.
