loading backups

Do u already have backups? u probably know how to restore backups if u do backup the database

if u want to know your inventory in a previous date (only quantities without cost), use the attached report in SO only

I have the backup files on disc. I'm just not sure how to load them and then restore the current dates file.

I just need a step by step.

hi, Go to sO Admin program and perform the following options:

1. Go to File Connect and then enter user id and password to connect to db.
2. Go to Database and then click on Backup to make the existing current database backup make sure the location.
3. GO to Database and then click on Create and then Specify RMSOct as name of database file, click next 2 times then the file location diagloge will come, specify your October Database backup file location. and then hit the next button it will restore the database.
4. go to File Configuration and in the Database Name specify RMSOct or whatever the name you given to create the new db. and hit the test button.
5. Logon to SO Manager and pull all your reports you needed and once done go on next step make sure to close all the programs
6. Go to SO Administrator, then File > Configuration and specify the Database name as your live database and hit the test button. this will bring you back to the real database.
7. now if you wanted to delete the RMSOct db. go to Database and hit the select button and then select the RMSOct db. then go to Database again and hit the Delete button to delete the restore db.
