Long Serial Numbers

Hi there

I have items with long Serial Numers > 20 characters, the software does not take anything longer than 20 characters, and if I enter long Serial Numbers when receiving PO's the program crashes!!! I did go into the database and changed every Serial Number field in all tables that have it to 30 characters, but still gives the same error when receving long Serials on PO, and even from Item properties it does not take longer than 20 characters.

Any ideas?

Yes... don't change field size! sorry .. but it's a problem of QSRules

Thanks for the comment. But I still need to store the long Serial Numbers in the database, any other ideas? Thanks
