I seem to have misplaced the RMS CD (ver 1.2) I purchased a few years back. Now i want to do a fresh reinstall on a new computer, does that mean i have to repurchase RMS?

For some products, MS will provide replacement media for something like $15.
You are on an old version, so you may be forced to upgrade if you rely on MS. It possible that someone here has upgraded from v1.2 to v1.3 and would be willing to part with the old CDs.
