Making Sales Rep inactive

Hi there,

I was wondering if there's a way to make a sales rep inactive instead of deleting it, so we don't see it on the POS, but without loosing sales info about the sales rep.

Thank you,

Julien

Julien,

The ability to make a sales rep inactive has been requested (by me and others). In the meantime, I add a prefix and filter out inactive reps. For example we use a 3 digit number for reps like 101, 102, etc. When I make them inactive I add a 9 in front; 9101, 9102 and then filter my reports for sales rep number < 9000.

You can filter out the inactive sales rep only for reports, but unfortunately not in POS screens.

That's the whole point.

I want to be able to remove sales reps for the POS without loosing any info about the sales.

the only way I have found to do this is to redesign your report to show the TransactionEntry.SalesRepID instead of linking to the SalesRep table and showing the SalesRep.Name and SalesRep.Number.

You will have to remember which SalesRepID matched which deleted employee because the database w> Hi there,
