I am looking to see inventory detail which includes items in a category with the sales $ for a time period, current quantity on hand, and last sold date for each item. I can see this information in a detailed sales report, but when I collapse the grouped rows to see one line for each item, I lose the last sold and QOH info. Is there any other way that I can see those three pieces of info on a summarized report?

The reason you don't see some fields when collapsing grouped rows is that if they where to be grouped the information would not make any sense and be totally wrong. For instance if you have a report grouped by category for a give time period, you could a single item appear 10 times because it was sold ten times for that period. Therefore if you had a quantity on hand of
10, for just that item alone you would have an overall value of 100 when you collapse that column. Similar thing for Last Sold Date there is no way to determine what the last sold date is for a single item in a Category when you could have multiple different items, which item's value would you use.Now if you are grouping by item and not any other column you could accomplish what you are after by changing the GroupMethod from groupmethodNone to groupmethodMax. In order to do this you would have to physically change the column properties in that report file.
