I have developed a dll Com object (Custom POS button) to deal with Private Cards. Using the same Card reader on my development PC as on the POS the following results:
On Development PC the swipe works as expected. The USB card reader swipes the track into a text box. Great....
On the POS the swipe works as expected. The USB card reader swipes the track into the textbox but then the Tender Screen Opens.
Both Machines are using the same card reader and com object. There is nothing setup in OPOS for the reader as its a basic USB reader so none required.
Any ideas welcome, I have even restricted the keypress on thetextbox to only allow numbers, ";", "=" and "?" as these are all that is required. This was in an attempt to remove any tabs or enter charactors on the swipe.
