How do you expand a single-terminal EDC setup to multiple registers? I know the Merchant Number remains the same. But what about the V number and Terminal ID? Do we up and assign our own Terminal IDs?
Wells Fargo says they don't care what we do. And since we're not buying expensive terminals from them they're not really motivated to get to the bottom of it.
Any help would be appreciated.

No, they all stay the same from one register to the next.
Like Alex says, they all batch out as one. You can separate totals by register in a report for checkout purposes. Both registers will batch as one to the processor. A new batch starts when you reach X number of charges. I think 100 is the default.

Thanks Alex and Marc. I'll go ahead and configure all registers identically. Somehow the idea of not having a unique identifier for each terminal does not sit well with me. But I'll trust that is how RMS operates.
