Multi site setup

  1. Can we duplicate configuration settings for POS stations to other POS stations at HQ so that we don?t have to go to each remote store to setup each individual Point of Sale?

  1. Can all cashiers be created and setup at HQ and push this information down to the store level?

It doesn't seem to me that RMS has the capability at this time to centrally manage things like this from HQ, but if it does I would be happy to hear it. thanks.

1) It looks like you are talking about the register level setting as configured in Store Operations Administrator. If that is the case, All of those values are stored int he Windows Registry. You can Export the settings from RegEdit, and Merge them back into another computer's registry. This effectively copies the register setup. All you need to change is the register number. I'm not giving any more detail than that because RegEdit is no one's friend and if you want to do this you should have to work for it a little:)

2)Not out of the box, but Retail Realm has an add-in that allows you to create "Global Cashiers" - among other things. Contact your RMS reseller - Retail Realm doesn't sell their add-ins direct anymore from what I understand... Also, if you have cashiers defined in your Template Database when you export a new store, those cashiers will be copied to the new store. This in not even close to being the same as the "Global Cashiers" from the add-in.
