Am considering if we want to ditch the pole display and use Net Display...how creative can you get with this? Has anyone done any "outside the box" configuration in terms of marketing or creative advertising, etc.? How is it typically used and how fancy can you get with it?
And I saw something in the training manual about "Windows Extended Desktop" having to be set up and enabled in order to run Net Display...how is this done (there's no mention of this in the online help)??

Robert is correct - the Net Display is composed of HTML so that means anything you can put on a web page you can display on Net Display. Half of the second monitor is whatever HTML pages you create (these can be made with Microsoft Word) and change every X seconds depending on how you time them and the other half show the customer what their buying as you ring it up.
We really try to persuade our customers to use Net Display as it is 10X better than a pole display. The cash register is an extremely valuable place for advertising - every customer in the store will see it! And compare the cost of Net Display versus a new paper ad, no brain-er if you ask me.
