Our company has been using 1.2.0185 for about 5 years. Now that 2.0 has been released MS has stopped production on any licenses for the HQ and SO versions
1.2 and 1.3. We currently have 10 stores and now we can no longer add any more stores to our growing business. MS suggestion is going to 2.0 so that we can spend another $20k. Doesn't surprize me at all.My question is what can we do to get a license for HQ without going through MS? I doubt its possible but there has to be a way to get a hold of a 16 store dongle. Searches for 3rd party companies selling RMS has yielded no results because MS anticipated this and stopped sending out dongles to their PARTNERS.
I starting to agree with others that are having similar problems. MS RMS is one of the biggest software scams of all time. If anyone is interested in
2.0, don't bother because in 5 years you won't have any support from MS and you'll almost be forced into upgrading to a new system adding a major expense to your company.
