Payments on a WorkOrder

Recall the WO. Click 'Order Details' (Shift-F9).

You need to edit the deposit amount by adding the new payment amount to any existing deposit amount. For example, a customer places an order for a $300 item and leaves a $100 deposit. Sometime later, the customer returns and wants to put another $100 down. You must now change the deposit amount to $200.

I know - it's not exactly intuitive - but it can be done and it does work.

When you tender the transaction, you will be prompted to accept payment for the difference between the new deposit amount and the previous deposit amount.
