PC Charge Pro & RMS 2.0 setup

In SO Administrator EDC setup:

1. set the edc software type to PC-Charge
2. set the edc data path (usually c:\Program Files\Active-Charge) for multiple lanes, point to the shared folder of computer running pccharge
3. Advanced options, set Credit Card Processing company (your vendor)
4. set merchant number (Credit card company numbers, TID or acct#)

In SO Manager

1. modify your credit card tender type to require EDC authentication

In PC-Charge

1. Under Setup - Users: change the username to be the number 1
2. if you have multiple POS lanes, add more users 2, 3 etc (add license required)
3. Setup - Preferences: don't set system password (cashier permissions off)

Matt: I follow steps as you have explain & when i try to tender credit card then in Electronic Draft Status window-- Status -- Denied Approval --- User Not Found I have in PC Charge Pro is User1 for main PC & 2nd checkout lane pc 2 Client is set to User2 not number 1 & number 2 only. If i remember on my 1st store i had to have user as a number 1 only not User1. Is that's problem here? PLease let me know and i can contact PC charge pro to add 1 not User1.
