PC Charge Setup For RMS 2.0

Apr 12, 2010 3 Replies

I have the latest version of PC Charge 5.9.1 and when setting up the users in it. I cannot edit User1 and when trying to process a cc transaction it says invalid user. I know I need to set the user to 1 in PC Charge but it wont let me. Can someone help?

in the version that I use, the solution is simply to edit the c:\Program Files\Active-Charge\users.pcc in notepad and change the first 5 characters of the file from "User1" to "1 ".

There is also a process that the customer service people can do, but it a lot more complicated.

To avoid all this dont use PcCharge or Icterrify. Stick with Smart Client by Hypercom and the RMS connector module. works far better than PcCharge or ICterrify
