PC Charge use with RMS

I have recently purchased PC Charge to help with reporting from RMS. However now that I have it I am being told that Store Operations supports PC Charge versions up to and including 5.1. I however have purchased version 5.7.1 and am having issues processing CC's. Does anyone know if this is true and if it is not true what would be causing my error: Status: Denied Approval: User Not Found Thanks

I have run into the same problem as you. Pc Charge can be very touchy to deal with. You need to verify that the users you have set up in PC Charge are the same as your register numbers with RMS. Check the register number setting inside Store Ops Administrator - File\Configuration\Register Tab. Make sure that your register number inside there matches the users inside PC Charge.

Example inside Administrator you have register number '5'. there needs to be a user '5' set up inside PC Charge.

Hopefully that helps

DUMP PCCharge, Best thing you can do, Get TPI.

PCCharge does not process debit cards correctly The add-on PCChrage created for debit is a Piece of junk. Sometimes it will work sometimes it wont. Remeber that you can NEVER do a debit return. PCCharge will allow you to do it TPI automatically converts it to a credit return. We had a customer that had 8 stores running this same setup and it was problem after problem with PcCharge and Verifone wasnt any help to fix it other than to point at RMS. They used Pccharge for 6 months before switching to TPI and since the change they have had NO problems. GET RID OF PCCHARGE You will be much happier when you do.

TPI is easy to obtaiin and most likely a lot cheaper than PCCharge.

call them again and have them call the processor. that way thay can test it and make sure they provided the correct data for pccharge. if using first data as processor make sure you have a valid datawire id if processing with highspeed internet. your processor should provide you with all the data needed to put into pccharge. pc charge is good if you re not using debit cards. if you do, stay away it?s a complicated process when you buy pccharge you get 1 year free tech support so use it. I just did an install with pccharge but the processor did not provide the datawire id (FDMS) so I had to wait for that after that it worked ok

Thanks all who have helped with getting this functioning properly. To correct an invalid data error when using RMS is pretty simple when you think about it. There is no place directly asking for a TID within RMS. This simply is typed in after the MID when setting up RMS to pass info to PC Charge. So far data has cleared and everything seems to work correctly.
