POS 2009 & SQL2005

Hi

I have a customer who wants to run POS2009 on an SQL Server 2005, without having to load a version of POS2009 on the SQL 2005 server, how may I achieve this?

Thanks

Don

The process would go something like... Extract the POS2009xxx.exe file on the workstation. Install POS 2009 on that same workstation using skipsql=Yes. During the create database wizard specify the SQL Server.

You should follow the Partner Implementation Guide for detailed instructions available on PartnerSource.

Thanks for your reply

I followed that process, to load the software on my machine that had an sql2005 database. ie skipsql=Yes

When I create the database how do I specify where I want this to be built?
