does anyone have which (thermal?) receipt printers to purchase? we're still using some pretty old ones and it is time to upgrade.

That's the Epson we use and we are very happy with them.

I suggest that you verify that the printer comes with the Epson PS-180 power supply. At this price, it may not, and the power supply is about 20.00.
