Receipt printer nightmares...

I have had problems in the past with slow printing and the only way i sorted it in the end was to remove any other printers in control panel. After doing this everything was fine.

The only difference was that i was using Epson printers not star

thanks guys - but ive tried both of these and just cant figure it out!

Its very very frustrating! I have installed only the windows drivers on a newly formatted pc, and nothing else, no other printers at all, and it still spits out the reciept so so slowly, i have the port speeds up as far s they will go, there is a noticable difference when i select different port speeds, but the printer only seems to support up to 9600 so i cant up it anymore...

i'll just have to keep on playing until i crack it!! :)
