Hi,
Does anybody out there use TSP700s with RMS, im having issues getting RMS to change the actual font size thats printed. I know how to do it, but it simply wont work, i can change fonts to bold and underline etc, but the size wont change.
I use OPOS drivers from the star website, any help appreciated!

OPOS is limited in what changes you can make to the receipt format. This could be the problem. If you want more control over the receipt format(such as fonts), use Stars windows drivers. Craig
I would gladly use the windows drivers, but they are too slow, it literally prints receipts at 1mm every few seconds, and takes a bout 2 mins to produce a receipt (obviously no use) I contacted star and they said that the way RMS sends to the printer causes this and nothign can be done to change it... So i'm back to OPOS, but no joy in changing anything much, i want to make it so my ILC doesnt run into the description like it does at the minute!

I'm using serial, and i think this may be the problem. I'd far rather be using my pararallel or a usb interface, still had no joy getting them to work properly with windows printers, i have to use the OPOS one which resuilts in ugly formatting and fonts which dont fit!
You can get new interfaces from your vendor and switch tem to USB. then run raster drivers. IF you can get an old copy of the raster drivers they work ok on serial. They updated(just like the Iphone) the drivers so now serial is crappy.
