RMS 2.0

Does anybody know what will be new with version 2.0? Allot of press about Vista but nothing about RMS 2.0!

What is the upgrade procedure? I have an HQ with 4 stores. I can't be in all places at all times - can I upgrade the stores (and HQ) one by one over a 4 day period (assuming I can live without HQ updates during the upgrade)?

How long does the upgrade take? Can I just pop the disk in the drive and follow the prompts, or is there more to it?

I am thinking the same as you with HQ and 36 locations (between 3 to 5 register per store) spread all over the state with them being as far out as

200 miles from Corporate. The last major upgrade was from QuickSell 2000 to RMS v1.2, we upgraded HQ 1st and disconnect it from polling till all store were online with RMS v1.2. Back then 68% of the store were within 25 miles of Corporate, not less than 35% are within 50 miles of Corporate. I have use Timbuktu Pro Remote software install on all workstations to do my RMS updates and service packs. I am wanting to find the best solution and try to save 2,000 additional miles to complete the upgrade process.
