RMS 2.0 Data Dictionary

Hi,

Does anyone know of a data dictionary or document that lists the changes between RMS 1.31 and RMS 2.0? I have a third party software and I want to make sure that when I upgrade to 2.0 it still works and that RMS 2.0 will still work. They have asked for the changes but I haven't been able to find any documentation.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Laura

Hi Laura, Here's a site you can go to that gives you information on v 2.0 in a "what's new" format....

If your third party software works with store ops manager, you could setup a test environment on a separate machine where you would install 1.3, recreate your 1.3 database, upgrade to 2.0 and test the 3rd party software; if it works with store ops POS, you can do the same but you'll need to call MS to reinstall the 2.0 license in your production PC after your testing is done...you should also consider engaging a RMS-certified partner, they may have gone through the pains already and save yourself some potential headaches...

Good luck with your upgrade - h> Hi,

We need a data dictionary also. We need to see relationships. We are writing a de-dupe tool that shows the user all duplicates (Customers) and there may be orders on each. We show the user the dupes and let them choose which record should have the orders. What tables other than [transaction] are involved.
