RMS, SQL Server, Windows Authentication

I need to run RMS and CRM on a single SBS2003 server. I've replaced MSDE on the SBS2003 with SQL2000 Server, but now find that I cannot connect to my RMS database. This is because SQL 2000 is configured for Windows Authentication (a prerequisite for CRM), instead of the SQL login method.

Is there anyway I can get RMS and CRM to co-exist? For instance I've tried changing the authentication method from Windows only to SQL and Windows in the SQL Enterprise Manager, but the setting refuses to change from Windows only.

How do I resolve this?

first thing that comes to mind:

You must be logged in as an administrator and after you change the authentication method, you must stop and re-start the SQL services (i would suggest a re-boot!!).

It's been awhile but I believe you can select either authentification as an option when setting up the SQL database. Right-click on the database in Enterprise Manager and select Properties.
