I wish to connect to the MS POS database (MSDE) on the local machine fromexcel or any other sql query software. Tried a few attempts but unable to do so. Everytime I get "database does not exist or access denied".
Server Name:(localhost)/MSPOSinstance
for login I am using windows authentication. (maybe I am going wrong here, but I dont know another login details). Any help here would me much appreciated.
