Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

I get this error when i try to connect to the other computer which is the server.

No Firewalls are active and i have tried the other posts related to this problem as well as searching the kb. THe kb says that i need to do something in enterprise manager but it does not come with it.

Any help would be excellant

Solor,

SO Administrator | File | Connect | make sure the Use SQL Server authentication is checked | enter SA for the user name and then enter your password | OK

Now check the File | Configuration | user name and password | Test connection

Do you guys now if you can use Windows Authentication when connecting to the SQL Server from the RMS client?

You can connect with windows authentication in the administrator on local machine, but it will not translate to the operating environment for Manager and POS . So, no you can not.
