I'm trying to print labels from a register. The label printer is connected to the server and is shared (LPT2) The label printer is defined as a network printer on each register. I can print labels at the register, if and only if the networked label printer is setup as the default computer printer.
However, if another printer is the default printer, then then the label will always try to print on the default printer, even after I select the label printer on the server.
However, I don't have this problem on the server. A laser printer is the default printer - LPT1, and the label printer is on LPT2.
What have I forgotten to do? Any ideas?
