Label Font

We have a Zebra LP2824 label printer installed on a backoffice machine, this is also where the label templates are located. I have installed the LP2824 as a network printer on three other machines in the store. And I have created a network drive to the label template directory. All of the RMS Administrators have the correct path to the shared label template directory. So all computers are using the same printer, and the same label templates. However, they all print labels with different fonts. What setting could be causing this? Does anybody know what font setting RMS is looking at when printing labels? It obviously must be local machine specific. Any Ideas?

thanks, Andy

Andy,

Go to the machine that has the label template on it. Manager | Utilities | Label Designer | open the label template | click on each field | click on the font button (the one with the capital A) for a font description | make sure you have that font on each machine or change it to one that all machines have, like Tahoma, Courier, Arial for starters.

If the font doesn't exist on a particular machine, Windows selects the closest fit from what's available on that machine.
