My cash drawer pops open for credit card transactions, even though the "pop cash drawer" option is unchecked in the Tender Types. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Do a Z report at the register. It should work.

If you are using a cash drawer that plugs directly into the printer and you are using the Windows drivers, its working correctly.
If you are using an OPOS driver and/or a cash drawer that does not connect directly to the printer, there is a setup issue. Would need to more about the printer and cash drawer makes, models and configurations you have.
