Rmsnet and Internet order

It seems that information on this subject is hard to come by so I am hoping someone here has a little insight.

Way back when, we used to use Quicksell 2000 for our brick and mortar POS. We also use Storefront V5 for our web store. SMSPOS used to host a server where we could export our Storefront orders in Yahoo XML format to a specific directory. This was done from within the Storefront software using the HTTP POST method. The XML was posted to an asp script which I supposeparsed the XML and created a file suitable for import into Quicksell. Wewould then connect to that server via a keystroke combination in Quickselland import all our web orders directly into Quicksell. Since thePOS software has changed hands, we have lost this ability. We now use RMS. Is it possible that I can continue to do this by posting these files on my own web server? If so, can someone point me in the right direction to get the information on how to do this? Is there a parsing script avaiable similar to the one that was used by SMSPOS on their server that I can use on mine? Is there a hosting service that will host these order files? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Are there any alternate solutions besides NEwWestTech? I have contacted them and I was told that their Web integrator works only with Strorefront V6.

Thank you, Bill

Bill,

If you were to host the XML orders on your own website, the New West integrator would be able to pick these up and enter them in to RMS. We have had many clients integrate the Web Integrator with their homegrown e-commerce sites.

We also integrate out of the box with X-Cart and Smart E-tailing, and will be releasing two-way integration with OSCommerce very soon, with two more major shopping carts to follow.

Let me know if you would like further technical details on what is involved with this.
