run-time error 13: mis-matched types

For some reason we are occasionally getting a "run-time error 13: mis-matched types" come up on either of our two registers. After it occurs, RMS completely shuts down and you have to restart the POS program.

I think this is happening on credit card sales, and occurs after the credit card has been sent to PC-Charge (the credit card sale goes through to our processor) and before the transaction is posted into RMS, so even though the card has been charged, the sale is not recorded in RMS at all.

To remedy this, we have to credit the customer through PC-Charge and re-ring the order on the other register while we're waiting for the one that crashed to restart RMS. I haven't found anything in the knowledge base or on this newsgroup relating to this sepecific error .... anyone have any ideas??

This is an error of programming.. your processor ask or return a value that RMS supply how other data-type..

Example: your processor ask or return a decimal value

rms supply com object reference..

result: BUG :)

Do you can latest hotfix of rms? or latest hotfix of your processor?
