I have 10 POS machines connected to a server. The server will run Wind2k3 as OS and SQLServer2000 as database. Do i need to get a CAL (for SQLServer2003) for each of the 10POS machines? tnx.

\Franco,
Yes, for each computer running SO POS _or_ SO Manager. A W2k3 CAL too!
Make sure collation is right before using RMS had issue here in Australia SQL2000 installs with a different default collation, it has something to do with the default region settings in Server
2003. I had to chooses a custom install and selected the collation that way. cheers. also set the recovery mode to simple...helps in avoiding the dreaded Log file error... cheers again.BeanSmart website is not affiliated with any of the manufacturers or service providers discussed here.
