sql server 2000

Feb 27, 2007 3 Replies

Sql server 2000 is running behind my Rms v1.3. In administrator, i am checking the size of my data base and i am seeing 1070 mb. Last week, there were 2gb. i checked and reindex the data base. Everything reported ok. What went wrong.

Can someone help?

Well, it could be your log file that was being reported here. When you run a backup, if setup proprerly on SQL, it should truncate the logfile and you should be good to go. Run some sales reports just in case to make sure someone didn't remove a bunch of data on you though. Mike

Hi

MY CONCERN IS THIS, THE CAPACITY OF THE DATA BASE HAS DECREASED FROM 2GB TO

1GB. ALL SALES REPORTS ARE OK. THE > Well, it could be your log file that was being reported here.

The capacity hasn't changed. The size has. You deleted some journals to free up some space. SOUNDS LIKE IT WORKED.

I don't think anything is wrong.

Tom
