I have noticed that my POSs are taking a surprisingly long time to start up in the morning (about 2 minutes). The strange thing is that the manager module starts right up with no lag, and on the server the POS starts up just fine. At first, I suspected network latency, but checked ping times and bandwidth which both look good. So I then thought it would be a database issue and I did a check and re-index which made no noticeable difference. I am at a loss, so if anyone has any insight, I would be appreciative. For reference, I'm running RMS 2.0. My database is 478MB. It's on a 10/100 ethernet LAN.
