STORE OPS AND SQL 2005

None of the RMS products have been tested or are currently supported on SQL

2005. However, some people have been running RMS on SQL 2005, myself included, in test environments without issues. But then again do you wish to take that chance on a live db and risk not being able to get support from MS.

It will probably be some time before it is truely support by Microsoft RMS, so don't hold your breath. You can Vote for this suggestion, Microsoft apparently uses these suggestions in determining what is a priority when making changes to products.

1. Click on the Provide Product Feedback (right hand side)
2. Click Microsoft Business Solutions Retail Management System
3. Enter -- sql -- in the field and press Go, you will be returned with some results choose the one entitled 'MS SQL Server 2005 Express....'
4. Click 'I Agree'
