Does anyone have any experience with a Symbol P360 memory scanner. We have a huge warehouse with no wifi and would like to be able to scan batches and import into RMS. How does one create a batch file from RMS to scanner and back to RMS?
What tasks are you trying to accomplish with the Symbol P360? Receiving, Physical Inventory? Without an "add-on" there is not a way to import a file into a Purchase Order. If you are trying to import a batch file for a Physical Inventory, you can use the P360, however it is not possible to upload the inventory file into the P360. I have used the P460 and assuming the scanner is programmed correctly, you can scan an item, enter a quantity and import that file into the Physical Inventory. It has been awhile since I have worked with the import, but I think there are 4 fields that must be imported into RMS and the fields must be in the correct order.
