Is it possible to upload a "NEW ITEM" generated in RMS (remote store) to HQ after the master db has been created? I tried a data upload worksheet and it didnt upload the new item.
I can certainly create a new item within HQ and pass that on to the stores with worksheet 260, but can this be done vice versa? It would be nice to have one of my managers input a new item (remote store) without having to come to the HQ store and input the new item.
My understanding of HQ and RMS is no you can't. New items should be entered to the db through HQ and sent down to stores. I know inventory transfer go both ways but not new items.
You can't upload new item from store to hq.. it's possible only with custom-solutions..
Headquarters support the synchronization (hq->store, store->hq) of custom table after the processing of a data upload (401) through TableSync..
You can to create a trigger that copy into custom table all data of new items into store, and a new trigger into hq. When the hq client process
401.. all records of your custom table will send to Headquarter.. and the trigger into HQ must be create the items, and a SQL worksheet for change the HQID into store.dbo.itemsorry for english
