1) Hardware Base text inserter: Just insert the text in the video. You can position the camera at the counter and see what items are on the counter and what items actually rung up in RMS.

2) Software base text inserter: Same as Hardware Base Text Inserter but it's also have own data base where its keep transactions data base inside the DVR. Where you can search transactions inside DVR database. i.e. Coke, Refund, Voids , Returns etc. You can search a refund for particular day and it will display a list of all refunds for that day. Then you can click on any of the refund and its play a video of that event so you can see exactly what happened during that transaction. So you don't have to spend hours to search for that DVR event. It also has a capability to print scrolling a live receipt journal on DVR screen. You can also program limits in database like refund limit $100.
