Sales Rep Sales Report

We are trying to review transactions by sales reps to look for annomolies so we can take action to correct potential traning issues. We have one store where the store manager is questioning an employee over the number of returns that orginate from her sales. She may be pressuring customers to purchase without attempting to qualify their needs.

Ultimately a list of items sold and items returned that were credited to a specific sales rep is what we need.

Other than using Crystal Reports any ideas?

This should be a relatively easy report to create - either as an RMS report or as a SQL report. First off, are you REQUIRING the Sales Rep number be entered on ALL transactions (sales and returns)? If not, then you may be missing some information when it comes to reporting.

I'd be happy to discuss this with you offline.

If you are questioning employee activity, sales rep would not really be where you would want to start looking because this is not a secure area. Cashier on transaction is if you require a forced logon each sale in the config settings.

If this is a case where you are suspecting commission fraud, yes - look at sales rep by trx. But - if you are suspecting fraud by theft (returns) then you really need a secured system with force logon each sale paired with detailed sales by cashier (which has trx and all of the other good stuff).

Where to find the sales rep report by trx #, I think that is published on Customer Source.
