Im using a Windows 7 Pro as a RMS server and one XP Pro machine as the register. So, I setup an incoming exeption on port 1433 and an outogoing on the same port. I also setup a firewall for SQLSVR.EXE but I still cant connect. If I turn off the firewall, then it will allow connections, but once its on, I cant connect. Any ideas?
