Z Report for Entire Store

I'm in need of a "store wide" Z report that list all the individual Z reports for a time frame (most a day) as well as a grand total for all the Z report line items.

In other words: all the tender types from each register as well as a grand total (I.E. register and all register totals for cash, Amex, Visa, MasterCard, layaways etc.)

BTW How is everybody else dealing with audit trail on daily tenders over and shorts etc.if you have multiple (10) registers?

HI Alex, you can accomplish the same results in Tender Summary Report which list you by register, by tender and whateso ever is your require grouping. The report is avaiable in Misc. > Tender Summary.

If you need any help let me know.

This gives me some of the information that I need, but it doesn't give me anything related to layaways, refunds, etc I need to get a consolidated Z report for all registers for an entire day (including all information that's on the register Z report. The only thing I don't really need is department/category, or hourly sales totals.

I also like to get Taxable, Non Taxable, and Tax Exempt information.

Any help would be appreciated!

This gives me quite a few things that I was looking for, but unlike a Z report it doesn't give me any type of Tender information. I also need numbers for Taxable Sales, Non Taxable Sales, and Tax Exempt Sales.

It would be great to have all the above information per Register with a grand total at the top or bottom.

P.S. Can you tell me how to add the Taxable Sales, Non Taxable Sales, and Tax Exempt Sales to the Z reports?

Thank you,

If you are handy with Excel, this is what I do:

Export the sales tax analysis report to a delimted file. Export the Crystal Reports Register analysis report to an Excel file.

You can then write a little macro (or maybe record it) to copy/paste from the sales tax export (for Taxable sales, Non Taxable sales and sales tax) to the Register Analysis report.

It sure would be nice to have it all in one report though!

Marc,

Thanks for your suggestions, but this is something that needs to be done every night and would be to time consuming/prone to errors/complicated for the closing managers.

Does anybody else have a solution for this?

As I mentioned in my original post I would like to be able to generate a store wide Z report with all the individual register Z reports and a grand total for the same. I would also like to have the numbers for taxable sales, non taxable sales and tax exempt.

Example. If I used 10 registers yesterday and Zed them out at the end of the day, I would like to have one report that list each one of the 10 Z reports and a grand total for all of them (plus all the above mentioned tax information). the register analysis report doesn't have enough detail and doesn't list tender types etc.

Is this close to what you are looking for? TenderView with enhanced EOD/EOM reports:

your browser window to view the details. The brochure shows the summary report for all registers, but batch detail would show each register. We could add another row for the taxable and non-taxable entries you are looking for.

There is an End of Day version and an End of Month version. EOD defaults to today's closed activity. EOM defaults to last month. You can enter a date or date range if you'd like another date or period reported.

TenderView itself allows you to view and balance your cash drawers faster and provides an X/Z report option to a full size printer.
