Alerts

Using QB 2005 Basic.

Alerts keep popping up. Any way to disable alerts. They are just another step to dismiss something which I never use and never will use.

Hopefully this is this is the one I'm thinking of. Click Edit - Preferences - General - Uncheck Bring back all one time messages.

These are little messages giving hints on how to do various things in the program.

The advertising messages cannot be turned off.

If Preferences is not under Edit try Company or the other drop down menus.

Right Click the alert Select - Display Alerts Manager Check off every one you don't want to see

You will have to do this every so often as they get unchecked when they come due
