Alerts

Just more frustration with whatever incompetent nincompoop decided what "features" are desirable in Quickbooks. About once a month more alerts pop up. I then go to the alerts manager and mark all done. Next month I can do it again. There is no way to turn off these stupid alerts. It would not be so bad if the alerts were something I wanted to be alerted to but most of them have nothing to do with my business and I cannot change them or pick which ones I want.

I know that the folks here cannot change that but it just points out what happens when a product is produced to enhance the bottom line of the producer and completely ignores the end user.

QB is basically a good product but the company is run by arrogant incompetents. If someone were to produce an equivalent product with a little more attention to what the end users want instead of what some users want, QB would go out of business.

Enough rant but at least I feel better.

I don't think any software company considers what the customer wants. It's what they can sell you that matters. Business 101.
