Q2004 R2 UK share alerts

Hi,

Upgraded from Q98 and now I cannot find where I can set high & low limits for share prices. Has this very useful feature been removed? or moved elsewhere?

TIA Please remove obvious from email address if emailing.

Not sure where it was in Q98 UK. Was it part of "Edit Price History"? That is where it still is in Q2004 H&B for Windows, US.

Thank you John,

That only gets me to amending the actual high and lows.

In Q98 I could set limits for each share so that if the share price went above/below those limits I was warned.

My apologies, I certainly did not read your original post very thoroughly.

The earliest version of Quicken that I ever used was Q2000 (US); the farthest back I can test is Q2001. I do not see any such capability for Quicken alerts.

But I do see that Quicken.com has something that appears to be what you once had in Q98. I don't even know if Quicken.com is available to UK users, but if it is, perhaps you can check there to see if that offers what you want.

Thanks John,

It seems I need to deregister and register Quicken again, and there is no definite response that it will allow for Uk stocks.

I've jumped thru enough hoops with this. I'll live without the feature. Such is progress!!!

Interesting. I'm using Q99 (Canada) and the high/low limits are in the dialogue box you use to set up a new security. You can change them by selecting "edit" when the share is highlighted in the Security List.
