Batch printing checks

QB2005 Pro - New user

I laser print checks. But so far, I do them one at a time. I'm sure there's a way for me first to enter all the data (pay bills, pay employees, etc..) for a group of sequential checks to be printed. But the QB help doesn't describe a means then to tell QB to send them to the printer sequentially in a batch. How's it best done?

Mark each check "To print" - there is a tick-box for this purpose, or you can type it into the check number field. (You need only do it once when creating a check or paycheck, or select the option in the Pay Bills window, thereafter the option will be selected automatically.) Then go to File, Print Forms, Checks (or Paychecks).

Quite easy actually, Click the check to be printed box, when you have entered all your checks click on the arrow next to the print tap and click on print batch. A box will come up with all the checks you can check the amounts and print the whole lot.
