? Brain addled with alcohol - QB help please!

I bought some office equipment from the EU using my personal credit card. I was just going to do a journal entry to enter the purchase and increase my directors loan. However QB won't let me do this and I have had to enter an invoice due to the EU VAT code. What's the simplest way to pay the invoice directly by increasing my directors loan?

TIA and happy New year!

Jon,

You had the right answer. Do a journal entry that increases the director loan and reduces accounts payable. Be sure to use the vendor name in the last column of the transaction. After you complete the transaction, go to "pay bills" and use the JE credit to offset the invoice.
