I noticed a checkmark field in the register that use used to "clear transactions"... what exactly does that do?

This is how our friend Willy Boy first started. One question led into another then another then another then another.
If you have nothing positive to say, take a hike guy. Someone else could participate and use this post as a reference.
Ok here is the sequence. First you read a Quickbooks Manual and or the Online Help and then if you still don't understand something you post here. This newgroup is not a free ride, you must earn it.
Also you post will not be used as a reference the question is far too simple.
